Daniel is the central protagonist of the Book of Daniel. According to the biblical book, at a young age Daniel was carried off to Babylon where he became famous for interpreting dreams and rose to become one of the most important figures in the court.

Homer Croy

Homer Croy (March 11, 1883 - May 24, 1965), was an American author and occasional screenwriter who wrote a number of fiction and non-fiction books about life in the Midwestern United States. He also wrote several popular biographies, including books on humorist Will Rogers and film director D.W. Griffith. Croy was born on a farm northwest of Maryville, Missouri

Esaias Tegnr (Kyrkerud, Vrmland 13 November 1782 - 2 November 1846 ), was a Swedish writer, professor of Greek language, and bishop. He was during the 19th century regarded as the father of modern poetry in Sweden, mainly through the national romantique epos Frithjof's Saga. He has been called Sweden's first modern man. Much is known about him, and he also wrote openly about himself.

The Lady Caroline Lamb (13 November 1785 26 January 1828) was a British aristocrat and novelist, best known for her 1812 affair with Lord Byron. Her husband was the 2nd Viscount Melbourne, the Prime Minister, however, she was never the Viscountess Melbourne because she died before he succeeded to the peerage; hence, she is known to history as Lady Caroline Lamb. She was the only daughter of the 3rd Earl of Bessborough and Henrietta, Countess of Bessborough. Her social credentials also included being niece of Georgiana Cavendish, Duchess of Devonshire, and cousin (by marriage) of Annabella, Lady Byron.

George William Thomson Omond

George William Thomson Omond (1846-1929)

G. W. T. Omond, M.A., FRHistS, (1846-1929) was a Scottish advocate and a prolific writer of history books. He was born at Craigentor, near Crieff, Perthshire on 13 September 1846. His father was the Rev. John Reid Omond, Minister of the Free Church of Scotland at the parish of Monzie, Perthshire, and his mother Margaret Jane Thomson. He was educated at Edinburgh Academy and the University of Edinburgh where he graduated in 1868 with first class honours in classics and second class in philosophy. He was a fellow of the Royal Historical Society and was created Chevalier de lOrdre de la Couronne (Belgium) for his books on that country. He married Margaret Isabella Alice Wright on 23 July 1878 at Edinburgh, and they had one son and three daughters. He died on 18th June 1929.
